Bespoke Narrowboats
Heartwood Narrowboats specialise in giving you the customer a bespoke narrowboat to suit your unique needs and requirements. We have a basic specifcation which is used as a baseline for designing your build. From this we encourage you to add your own artistic ideas, which combined with our creative expression will give you a unique and personal narrowboat.
A Creative Expression
Our ‘bespoke narrowboats’ are built to our high standards and your unique needs. We like to show the progress of our narrowboat builds so you can see the build programme through the various stages of fit-out.
Our current Narrowboat "Y-Knot " can be viewed through our gallery. "Slow Pace" was launched at Christmas 2008, "Alma Jean " was completed and exhibited at Crick in May this year. "Intrepid was completed in August and "The Maisibert" was completed in March this year. Some of our clients have their own blog sites "Slow Pace", "Intrepid", "The Maisibert" and "Lorimar". The Maisibert and Intrepid both came to us needing complete overhalls as they were not new builds. They have been stripped and sandblasted prior to work commencing.
Our other Narrowboat's build processes can be viewed from start to finish via our gallery. Narrowboat "Lorimar" launched on 18th May 2007 and narrowboats "Plan B" and "Tragara" which were completed in 2006.
